How much fun is a Rodeo? HEAPS
Harvey Dicksons is all that much more fun because its local and just like stepping back about 40 years.

Harvey had a dream way back, a dream about cowboys riding broncs and this has only taken 20 odd years to become a reality. His Rodeo ground is right out of the pages of your typical western. Big timber corals encircling an arena big enough to put on a full scale rodeo event.

All of these shots were captured off the digital video camera and I reckon that they are pretty good. So of course that means that the video is awesome. We spent the time on the editing to put out a 2 hr. video of all the days highlights.
This was the last Bull of the day and what a performer. These are professional bulls and they know what they are meant to do.
This one had everyone scattering for cover, a style that he is very good at. No Bull!

Harvey traditionally pulls the shute for the first ride.
This Bull had a time settling down which delayed the start but added to the excitement. The poor cowboy riding this unit was dazed and confused before he got out of the shutes.

Just good fun hats what its all about. Harvey's rodeo is a must for all to see and a credit to the Dicksons. It all happens in October and if your doing anything "drop it" and head over to Boyup Brook. Its affordable family fun which you will not regret, put it on the calender October 29th - 30th 2004

Judging for the best mount.
